Topics include applying contemporary standards of care, using strength-based and child-focused language, recognizing and managing ethical boundaries, understanding relevant Family Code provisions, and assessing the complex dynamics that can emerge when parents are separated, divorced, or otherwise parenting across two households.

Participants will also explore practical communication, conflict-resolution, and intervention strategies designed to help professionals support parents in reducing harmful conflict, improving coparenting functioning, and promoting healthier outcomes for children.
